Over the years, Higgins and Hughes Company has developed a phased approach to our recruiting efforts, which helps to ensure we provide our clients with candidates who not only meet the professional qualifications required by the position, but also fit the company culture and philosophy. Some of the approaches we take include:

  • Skill Set Testing

Higgins and Hughes' primary focus is quality. Consequently, all Higgins and Hughes candidates are tested to confirm their experience and level of expertise in their fields.

  • Professional Reference Checking

Higgins and Hughes Company checks professional references of each candidate provided by our recruiting groups. We make available to the client professional reference checks for all candidates.

  • In-Person Candidate Interviewing

All candidates are personally and effectively interviewed by at least one (normally two or more) Higgins and Hughes Recruitment Representatives before their resumes are presented to the client.

We use targeted research to investigate and certify all candidates' assignments, responsibilities, accomplishments and technical qualifications. In addition, we observe and rate the candidates' communication skills, appearance and personal demeanor.

  • Chemical Abuse, Financial and Criminal Background checks

Higgins and Hughes Company believes in a drug free workplace and does not tolerate chemical abuse by its field consultants or internal staff. Higgins and Hughes Company will conduct checks on Higgins and Hughes submitted candidates, when accompanied by written request from our clients.
